Jamin Stortz is a writer based in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is a graduate of the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers and was a 2025 Beinecke Fellow at Yale University. His writing has appeared in the Hawai’i Pacific Review and the Chicago Review of Books.

A veteran, he has worked and lived in over 50 countries, serving in the US Coast Guard and later working with the US State Department.
